this game is gonna come out in May for the USA and June for Europe ^^ I can say that I'm really excited for it, being the sequel of one of my fave wii games and of course a Mario game X3

I'm pretty stoked for this myself, actually. Should go pre-order it haha. I really wouldn't mind though if this game just takes what Galaxy did and continues with it, because, whilst in my eyes short, Galaxy was chock full of fun and entertainment. Saying that though, they have added Yoshi and a new suit from what I know. Also, it's quite nice that it'll be coming out in summer, and at the end of my course too lol

I really very exited for this game! In fact, I have been ever since I first saw it shown at E3 2009. I'm a huge fan of Mario platformers and Galaxy was no exception. Seeing Yoshi in the mix makes things all the more exciting!! ^^ I can't wait to hear the orchestrated music in its finalized form either.

May 23rd can't get here any faster. >.<

I went at the gamestop today and they were already giving out pre-orders, chu ish excited X3 anyway, I bring to you new scans of the game! ^^

huh, that picture that has 'World 2' above it, is that how the map select screen is going to look? cause it looks pretty funky =o though wouldn't it be more right to say Galaxy instead of World, if its got all the levels in it =o =p

and oh my, Bowser has grown X3

- every power-up from Super Mario Galaxy will return
- Cloud Mario: Summon 3 clouds by shaking the Wiimote
- to get more clouds, you must pick up another cloud power-up
- Fluffy Bluff and Cloudy Court Galaxies feature the cloud suit
- levels feature blowing wind that will move your clouds
- clouds disappear after several seconds
- ground pound through clouds
- lose cloud suit if you touch water
- co-op called Co-Star mode
- player 2 uses Wiimote to shoot star bits, collect objects, help Mario jump higher, and hold enemies in place, kill/stun enemies by shaking Wiimote as you hold onto them, tickle NPCs
- Player 2 can use d-pad to send cheers and other messages through player 1's Wiimote speaker
- Hint TV: a quick video plays on TV screens in the game to show you how to complete an area
- Cosmic Guide: The Cosmic Witch (which resembles Rosalina in the trailer) takes over controls to play the game for you
- Cosmic Guide appears if you die a certain amount, or if you are stuck in a particular section for a long time
- if you use the Cosmic Guide, you'll get a bronze star at the end of the level, instead of the gold
- press the plus button to end Cosmic Guide control
- drums added to the music when you ride Yoshi
- uses the same graphical engine as Galaxy

It looks cool.

huh, this Cosmic Guide thing, seems a nice little idea. Not too invasive for people who don't want to use it, if you have to talk to that shadowy Rosalina to activate it.
Co-Star mode sounds little different from the one in the first Galaxy..

But I was hoping for an entirely new main theme, I mean it sounds great! but it is still sounding a bit like the first Mario Galaxy theme.
They did something like this with some soundtracks from New Super Mario Bros. (DS) and New Super Mario Bros. Wii. But meh.. it's Mario, and he rulz.
