The trouble one finds with games of today is there is no scope to them, it's like all the time and energy has been wasted on big graphics, loud music; certainly not enough game play.

I deal with retro games all of the time, I do find them more playable than a lot of the new games we get today.
I spent hours trying to complete this game.

Yes, but games are not just about playability, some peoples can cut through worse gaming for awesome story or graphics
